How the edge works: in each area the offense’s rank among the 32 offenses is set against the defense’s rank among the 32 defenses. A 3rd-ranked offense facing the 28th-ranked defense is a big edge for the offense; when the two ranks are within 3 places it’s called even. Quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and tight ends are judged on full-PPR fantasy points a game, passing and rushing on expected points added per play, and overall on points a game. Schedule-adjusted (the default) measures every game against what that opponent usually does against everyone else: a defense that held a weak offense to 14 points gets less credit than one that held a strong one to 14.
