How it reads. The algorithm scores every player once: projected production above the replacement-level starter at his position in your league, blended with a position-specific aging and career-wear curve, real games missed, and how good his offense actually is. That score is format-neutral — scarcity comes from the roster slots you set above, which is why the same engine works in a 1QB league and a superflex one. The site then does exactly one thing to it: it walks the player forward along the same aging curve and discounts each future season. Contender versus rebuilder is that discount rate — a contender values year three at about a quarter of year one, a rebuilder at over four fifths. Each side of a trade is scored on its own rate, which is why both columns can read positive at once. Rookie picks are valued as the player their historical slot returns, hedged and discounted for the wait. Values are on a 0-100 scale anchored to a replacement-level starter, so a 60 is worth roughly twice a 30. Trade verdicts are the percentage each side gains against what it sends away, judged on its own timeline.
